Life Transition

Life transitions can be both exciting and challenging, as they involve significant changes in our lives, relationships, and identities. Some examples of life transitions include starting high school, starting a (new) job, a (first) romantic relationship, becoming a parent, or losing a loved one. While these transitions can bring about positive changes, they can also be stressful and overwhelming, leaving us feeling anxious, confused, or uncertain.


Sometimes we need some support in going through these life changes. Therapy can be beneficial in helping you navigate these transitions and manage the accompanying emotions. A therapist can provide a safe and supportive space for you to explore your feelings, beliefs, and values, and develop coping strategies to navigate the transition. Additionally, therapy can help you identify patterns of thinking or behaviour that may be hindering your ability to adjust to the transition, address any underlying emotional issues that may be contributing to the difficulty in navigating life transitions, and work towards making positive changes.
