PROFESSIONAL SUPERVISION

What is Professional Supervision and who is it for?

Professional Supervision provides a space where the Supervisee can reflect on their own work processes and discuss professional and workplace issues in a safe environment.

The purpose of professional supervision is ensuring the well-being of clients under the care of the Supervisee. This is done through emphasising a commitment to ethical and professional practice and promoting the well-being of the client. Additionally, the supervisory process provides an objective lens and seeks to foster the growth of the Supervisee's professional identity and competence, observing the Supervisee’s mental health, encouraging continuous professional development and refinement of their skills.

Who is Professional Supervision for?

Professional Supervision is not only suitable for counsellors, arts therapists, play therapists, psychotherapists, occupational therapists or developmental educators. It is suitable to anyone who's job role it is to work with people and play a role in this person's welfare such as support workers, case managers, support coordinators and recovery coaches.

Offering your presence to another individual, extending them support and care on physical and emotional levels, can take a toll on you. Collaborating with a Professional Supervisor offers you the chance to contemplate your methods, address any client or personal concerns, and recharge.

Our Professional Supervision can be one-on-one, can be provided in a group format, online, face-to-face and at your workplace.
